When one thinks of a vacation, whether traveling short or long distance, it is always exciting; however, the not so exciting part can be the planning. When one is planning a trip, it is no secret that one would want everything to be perfect. So, just think of having to plan a trip abroad. You have to know the right time to travel. One must know the main attractions, currency exchange, the best time to buy a ticket, etc… So much needed information can become a very stressful situation. Just think though, if you wanted to travel abroad, and just like a travel agency there was an agency, that would plan your trip for you. Well that is the agency I have just opened. It is called “Just Relax”. My first client is a couple who has decided they would like to travel to Ghana. The couple has come to me solely with the ideal of a vacation to Ghana. They have left it up to me to find out the best time to travel, tourist attractions, reasonable hotel rates, currency exchange, etc… Although this is my first client I have prepared myself for such a task through my own personal research and experience in travel; furthermore, I have taken a college course called Communication, Travel & Tourism. The professor himself has vast experience in planning and traveling aboard, so I am confident I am more than ready to meet the needs of my first client. In planning a trip, first thing is finding the best time to travel.
While conducting my research, it appears that the best time to travel to Ghana, Africa is during the months of November through April. These months is what is are considered the dry months. Although Ghana’s temperature is relatively 85 degrees all the time, during these months it is a little less hot, which means less mosquitoes (which appears to be a problem) in Ghana. The rainy season in the southern regions usually last from April through November, and in the northern regions from March through September.
