In this world its a matter of give and take but it is always better to give than to take. When you give, don’t expect for something in return. I remember the question ask to us by the parish moderator. She asked, what is your main goal why you want to help here in the parish works? Then we replied, for grades, a requirement, and some said to pass the subject. She said to us to change our goal to Just help the parish with all of our hearts because when you think of an exchange you will not do your best cause if you do something you will think that it is already enough but its not then you will not work.

On the day of work in the parish, I saw plenty of works but lack of workers. The parish workers are few and majority is senior citizen. How they can clean the roof? How the can carry the tables? They are already weak in physical but strong in faith still giving service to God. We started cleaning the roof. One went to the roof and push the leaves down and small branches that are stock in the roof. The girls sweep the ground. Some boys dispose the garbage. Some arrange and clean the new office.

Then all of the boys demolish the old and not pleasing hanging garden. All of the works are done. All of the people there was very happy. You can see the smiles in their faces. They gave some sort of money for our Marianne and we didn’t expect that. That made our day and then all of us went to school for our class. Always help others. Help if you can help and don’t hesitate to give your best because someday if you need help there is help that will come in the form of other people not specifically the people you helped before but God will provide.
