Young single mother When I was pregnant in high school I remember walking down those hallways till today being stared by people. Always being looked down on it was the worst thing that ever happens to me. I felt like I was in a dream and I was going to wake up soon, but truly it was real. Even till today I remember the year I was pregnant in high school. Even till today I remember that year I dreaded to even take a step in and how much it has impacted my life today.I t was my last year in Oakton high school and like everyone else I was excited to graduate start my new life with freedom and no one telling me what to do anymore. The same year I met Brian who is Caucasian tall kind of looks like the new James Bond. I thought I was falling in love with him but, I was wrong I was just falling into his sneaky tricks to make me think he was the best which, was not true at all because behind all the fake romance was lies and anger. We were dating for four months in to my senior year until I was worried my menstrual cycle was not normal I missed too many months but I just kept denying that I was pregnant. While I was lying on my bed I told myself I’m going to the doctors the next day. I woke up the next morning and went to the doctors scared to even walk in, but then all of a sudden the receptionist said “what’s the reason you are here”. Then I said well “I want to take a pregnancy test” and she said ok and took me to the back and I took the test and found out I was pregnant. The day I found out I was pregnant I started crying and hating myself because I knew I broke all the rules at my house and that I was going to have to mature faster than others. The only thing I knew was I had to graduate that year. Even though it was so hard to even go back to school with a huge stomach and people looking at you like a weirdo I still survived that year of 2012.
