Cheating is a Problem.
Children everywhere are cheating every day. Sending pictures of homework, tests, and giving away old essays or projects. According to Donald C. Mc.Cadle 33% of students learn from others what is on their test. A lot of people are cheating their way through school. Cheating has become a huge problem. Why are we not doing anything about it? Like using solution’s as simple as, taking phones during test, making several different copies of test, and moving desk around. Just these simple tasks can make a change.
One solution is to make four versions of their test. That way kids can’t look at the person next to them to cheat because they would have different test. Teachers usually make one or two versions of the test, which does not stop kids from sending pictures of the test or copying off the person in front of or behind you. When making these do not tell the kids they are different, why? So you can tell if they cheated off the person next to them. This is just one simple thing you can do to prevent cheating.
Taking phones before the test is another great way to stop cheating. By doing this kids wouldn’t be able to take pictures of the test and send them to other class mates in other periods. Kids also use their phones to copy answers from their previous study guide. Although some kids might use other devices teachers should have a basket or box to put by the door to collect all electronic devises and if they are caught with one, than they get an automatic 0%. By taking these phones they don’t have a chance of sending pictures of the test, looking at study guides of possible answers or goggling the questions.
My last solution is moving desks around. Research shows that 22% of kids look at their neighbors too cheat. By spreading out the desks so kids could not look at each other’s papers is very easy. If kids still continue to cheat, move all those kids by each other, so if they cheat they get…
