The company project team has faces difficulty. The barriers facing by the team is low morale and unable to meet the deadlines. So that our group recommend the Eduardo should become new manager. Although Eduardo has the capability to become a leader, however Martina is more suitable compare to Eduardo.
There are few managers which are available and suitable for the replacement of present manager, who are Ruth, Kazuo and Martina. Based on analysis, I would suggest Martina to replace the current manager. Martine has an excellent leadership and makes her outstanding from the others manager. Leadership defined as a process where an individual able to influences other people towards group or organizational goals (Derek &etc., 2002). She has a good leadership style. Before goal to be set, firstly Martina will discuss with the team. After that Martine will give team member responsibilities and authority to get the job done.By giving responsibility and authority, this could motivate the team member because they will feel the manager is trust them, indirectly build a mutual understanding between them. Furthermore she is able to make the right decision within time scale and lead the team to practice it. Transformational leadership defined as a leader who able to make their follower feel trust, admire, loyal and respect toward the leader (pg103, paragraph 2).
Other than that, Martina has important personalities and soft skill which suit to the position. She communicates with her team before final decision and goals set. To create and sustain a successful business, effective communication is very important to the group or organization (Georgianna Das, 2006).
