What Makes the Best Apartment

What makes the best Apartment In high school, most students’ main objective besides graduating was getting their own place so that they could get away from their dreaded parent’s’ rules. They looked forward to venturing out on their own and, unless they were wealthy enough to get a house straight out of high school, getting their own apartment. I did Just that; since graduation I have lived in four apartments. My best apartment and my worst apartment both have similar qualities that made them appealing; however the amenities, rent, and the caliber of roommates between the two differed significantly.

Ashley Park is located in Carolina Forest: a subdivision in Myrtle Beach. This is home to my current and best apartment. Plush carpeting, spacious living rooms, a pool, and a gym facility put this place on the map for wonderful living. Having minimal neighbors to worry about makes finding a parking spot easy and when friends come over we don’t have to worry about noise disrupting anyone. At three hundred and twenty dollars a month (including rent and utilities) this apartment makes it affordable for a college student like me to live in.

Since roommates can make or break a living situation, it’s also a big plus that my roommate at Ashley Park is tidy and responsible. All these things combined definitely make for a great place to live. My worst apartment would be the one that I had in Wilmington, North Carolina. Small bedrooms, scratchy/stained carpeting, and thin walls make this apartment a dread for all renters. Having to share a building with eight other families made finding a parking spot and having people over a nightmare because u always had to worry bout being respectful to other people.

The thin walls and floors brought noise complaints from the neighbors at least three times a week. The roommates I shared my worst apartment with didn’t make things easy either. Lack of respect and poor hygiene made coming home everyday a nightmare. Even though these are considered my best and worst apartments (therefore they have drastic differences), both of these places have appealing similar qualities as well. Ashley Park and the Wilmington apartment are both set in good city locations. Coastal Carolina University/

Worry Georgetown Technical College and the University of North Carolina Wilmington are all located within fifteen minutes of the apartments so getting to school and work was/is very simple. I have a dog as well, so walking him is essential in my everyday life. Although I hated the Wilmington apartment, the backyard area was perfect for walking my dog; Ashley Park also has a wonderful area for it as well. I shared a lot of great experiences in both my worst and best apartments. The main objective was accomplished: getting out of mom and dad’s after high school, and that was the important thing for me.

It was a good learning experience to see both sides of apartment life because having a great apartment now is only appreciated from having the horrible one in Wilmington. They both have some really appealing and positive things in common, but the utilities, rent, and roommate differences can’t compared to the other. Terra- You need to remember to indent. Also I changed the top of the page where it says the number. You have to put it in as a header so it shows the different numbers for each page. I wouldn’t use the question mark in the title.

It’s not against the rules r anything, but you don’t need it. I changed a lot in the first paragraph. You can keep what you want. I didn’t change too much in the second, but I did change a few words and/or punctuations. The third paragraph was pretty much perfect. The only thing I changed was the order of the first sentence. The fourth paragraph was pretty crazy, so I changed a few things there. I added an idea of what the fifth paragraph can say. Just make sure you remove my comments at the bottom here, and change the fifth paragraph into the right size, font, and color. Love you. Good Job
