It is warm outside and you want to wear your peep toe heels, but you need to put a fresh coat of polish on your toes. You don’t have the extra time to get them done. You are pretty good at polishing your toes so you don’t put a towel down, who needs a toe divider? Those girlfriends of yours’ are amateurs you are much more skilled than anyone else you know it will only take you 10-15 minutes tops. Who is texting me now? Let me check this real quick, it will only take a second. Well you have done it now, the polished spilled on your tan carpet and there is no one else at home to blame. In the next few paragraphs I will explain how you can use some simple polish remover and other household products to take the polish right out of the carpet without ruining the integrity of the material.
First, you will need to gather a few things from around your home. You will need the following;
* 1 Bottle of non-acetone nail polish remover
* 2 Small to medium clean old towel or rag
* 1 Small to medium scrub brush
* 1 Bottle of dish washing liquid
* 3-4 Paper towels
* 1 small bowl of water
Once you have gathered all the items together place them on a small table near the area to be worked or on the medium towel that you have.
Second, you need to pick the bottle of finger nail polish up off of the carpet if you have not done so already. If there is polish around the rim of the bottle and outside, get a large enough piece of paper towel so you can place some polish remover on it to clean the excess from the bottle. After this has been done, you can place the top back on the bottle and store in a cool dry place. Take another paper towel and remove the excess polish from the carpet, reframe from spearing or pressing down on carpet when doing this. Take the small rag or towel and put a half a cap to start of polish remover on the applicator and dab it on the carpet, make sure it is dabbed over the entire stained area.
