As Kudlers Fine Foods continues to expand rapidly the core foundations and vision of the owner Mrs. Kudler has maintained the company as a one stop food company. Mrs. Kudler being hands on she still maintains contact with hiring and customer service of this expanding business. The focus of the passage will tie in the importance of analysis and competitive intelligence regarding to the development of Kudler Fine Foods.
Most growing companies have used information technologies (IT) to enhance operations and improve customer service. Mrs. Kudler has plans to add to the inventory and ordering automation by introducing new e-commerce capabilities and an online catering link (Kudler Fine Foods Portal, Strategic Plan, pgs 15-16). This is a marketing model for companies finding a sustainable competitive advantage in the company’s demographic. All though with change the turnover in your company will grow, but with the world using more computers and robots Mrs. Kudlers loose approach and kindness a change may be difficult for her to accept. Knowing this the company will only prosper with changes to the IT applications.
