Oxfam is a global charity which helps unfortunate people around the world. Oxfam was founded in 1942. In 2008, Oxfam GB worked with over 20,000 volunteers in shops across the UK, raising ?17.1 million for Oxfam’s programme work. Their objectives and aim is to work with people to combat suffering and poverty.
